By the year 3007, man has left the confines of the planet Earth, and genetically split off into new species, specially adapted to life on other planets. A race of galactic conquerors have arrived, the reptilian Badoon, and have swept through our solar system, leaving scant survivors. Four of them, each fighting to survive, miraculously cross paths and aid each other in their escapes. Together, they flee to Earth's New York City to find what is left of the underground resistance and to fight the infestation of Badoon.
First appearance of Vance Astro, Martinex, Charlie-27, and Yondu of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
