Karl Kaufman can't afford to sign up to fight in WWI, despite his flying skills, as his parents still live in Germany, and to do so would risk their safety. He does, however, don his Phantom Eagle disguise, and fight anonymously to clear the skies of the German aggressors.

"The Un-Human!" featuring the Original Human Torch (E-960) by Ayers. 5 pages.
First time printing of an un-published Golden Age story. Aliens come to Earth to ease their own planets overcrowding, and plan to de-populate Earth by dropping a monster, the Un-Human, in their midst. The Torch and Toro must stop the killing, hydra-like beast.

Namor receives a call for help from a Professor Zunbar. He answers the call only to find a trap, and that the Professor has created an amphibious monster, but it is flawed in that it fears the water. The Professor plans to swap brains with Namor to fix that. Betty Dean comes to the rescue.
