"Mark of the Mace!"
Luke Cage has finished his adversary, Diamondback, but has to worry about Doctor Burstein, who knows the secret of Cage's former life. The Doctor tells Cage that he isn't wild about Cage putting his might out for hire, but he will keep his mouth shut...for now.
Cage is visited in office late at night by a man who is on the run from trouble. The man is a veteran who joined the cause of one Gideon Mace. Mace's original message was one of veteran's rights, but it quickly turned militant. Cage agrees to help before Mace's people show up and gun down his client. Cage goes after Mace, who's motives turn out to be much more capitalistic that he told his followers.
