"Freedom's Road"
Editorial by Dez Skinn about the launch of Warrior magazine.
"Prologue"
"...A Dream of Flying"
Mike Moran's past is a foggy haze. One thing that is lucid is the recurring nightmare he relives most nights for the past years. Dreams of brightly-colored flying men and atomic explosions will have to take a back seat today.
Today's assignment is to cover the opening of a nuclear plant, somewhere up north in the Lake District. On the way, Mike frantically tries to remember a word from that same dream. At journey's end, Moran meets up with his colleague, Paul Duncan, whose occupation is to snap pictures and crack wise. Mike's not in the mood and also has a killer migraine.
Things get worse, as armed terrorists seek to hijack nuclear material from the facility. Moran collapses with his head pounding as if Gareth Edwards were kicking it for fun. Just as one of the balaclava-wearing criminals drags Mike down a hallway, the elusive missing word appears to him through kismet; "Kimota!"
With a fantastic phantasmagorical flash of phosphorescence, a legend is reborn.
