"The Sub-Mariner Must Be Stopped!" (X-772) featuring the Human Torch and the Thing

The Baxter Building alarms show Namor entering New York Harbor, and the Thing and Human Torch meet him in battle. Little do they know that Namor was arriving in peace to meet with Reed.
A chance to establish peace with Namor is missed.
Story written by Stan Lee, drawn by Dick Ayers, inked by Paul Reinman, and lettered by Sam Rosen; 13 pages.


"Mordo Must Not Catch Me!" (X-773) featuring Doctor Strange.

Dr. Strange is attacked in his sanctuary by assassins from Baron Mordo. He dispatches them, but Mordo arrives to announce that he has the Ancient One captive. The ensuing battle ranges over the whole Earth, as Strange tries to find his captive mentor. Find him he does, in Mordo's hidden Himalayan lair, at which time he shows Mordo who is master.
Story written by Stan Lee, drawn by Steve Ditko, inked by George Bell, and lettered by Artie Simek; 10 pages.
Reprinted in Marvel Collectors' Item Classics #16.
