"Bloody Monday" - A member of the Protectors dies!
**SPOILER ALERT in the COA info***
The COA is called a "Certificate of Death" and states the following:
"This certifies that the superhero, Nightmask, has been officially pronounced dead, the recipient of a force beam shot by his arch enemy, MR. Monday, in Protectors #5. This comic is the very first comic ever printed with a force beam hole through the comic.
This also certifies that this copy of Protectors #5, issued by Malibu Comics, is part of a limited edition of 5000 copies that have been autographed by writer R.A. Jones and artist Thomas Derenick. The signatures are unconditionally guaranteed as to their authenticity."
The COA is signed by Malibu president Scott Rosenberg and the CEO of Catch A Star Collectibles, Inc Ken Goldin.
