Fear 21-A by Marvel
Item Bio
"Project: Second Genesis!"
Morbius is under the control of cultist priest Daemond, and is sent on a mission to destroy someone, but when he arrives at the target, he finds a young girl who seems to have supernatural powers. In their struggles, she is injured and Morbius is filled with regret. He takes her to the nearby house which harbors her people, a group called the Caretakers who are in a power struggle with Daemond. The Caretakers promise Morbius help in finding his lost love Martine if Morbius will aid them in their fight against Daemond. Morbius agrees and returns to Daemond's lair, only to be mastered by supernatural forces. Daemond's companion is none other than Morbius' lost lover, Martine.
"Sorry...Mr. Hopkins!" Reprinted from Mystic #8.
Mr. Hopkins loses his glasses while going to see a gypsy at a carnival. She finds them for him, and when he puts them on, he sees her as a lovely young woman. The gypsy convinces him to kill his wife so that he can be with her; however, she had exchanged his glasses for an enchanted pair, and, in reality, she is an ugly old hag. 4 pages (9938).
Contains Marvel Value Stamp Series A #77 The Swordsman.
