College Game Day on ESPN is on campus at JMU in Harrisonburg, VA doing the live show today. One of the SportsCenter anchors who shall remain unnamed (Randy Scott) just referred to James Madison University as "Mr. Jefferson's School".

This is actually the 3rd time CGD has been to JMU while UVA remains one of the 5 or 6 schools that they have never visited.

I love the name Fightin Blue Hens but the Grizz will devour them. Montana

I suppose if Alabama, Michigan, FSU, and Texas all win, we could conceivably see the SEC completely shut out of the final four. That would set up Michigan, Washington, and FSU all undefeated, and then three teams vying for the 4th spot at 12-1 -- Texas who beat Alabama who would hypothetically beat Georgia.

Part of me would have loved to see how the committee would pick a top 4 if Alabama, Iowa, Oregon, Louisville, Texas all won, giving us seven 12-1 teams (plus 11-1 OSU).

I have no conference pride and would not mind seeing Georgia and Alabama both sitting out.

So would the majority of college football fans.

I don't see how Alabama could get in without all sorts of mental gymnastics and circular logic by the committee. Such an action would certainly devalue on-the-field results, whether it knocks FSU or Texas out.

Well, Paul Finebaum of ESPN just said on SportsCenter that it would be "shameful" if Alabama was not allowed in. My thought is that if Alabama wanted to go to the Playoffs then they should have beaten Texas.

The committee has no balls nor integrity.
