I like Marvel more than any publisher but that doesn't mean I don't like titles from other pubs................

In the 80s and early to mid 90s I would have said Marvel without a doubt. But ever since The Clone Saga in Spider-Man and Onslaught in X-Men happened, Marvel has gone downhill. While on the other hand, DC was putting out the best stuff in they had in years like GL Emerald Twilight, Zero Hour, Power of Shazam!, Starman, Final Night, Kingdom Come, Morrison's JLA, Geoff John's JSA, Mark Waid and John's Flash, Batman: Hush, and others. And even more recently we've had GL Rebirth, GL Sinestro Corps, Infinite Crisis, 52, Identity Crisis, and others. So now it's definetly DC for me. -Nate-

I buy mostly marvel. Huge X-men fan, but my fav is Udon! I love these guys so much. Everything they put out is gold. IMHO. Just wish they didn't take such a hyata from comics so much. Video games are great but I want them back on paper.

DC for me... but Marvel has/had some good titles too. Still, I have always preferred DC. When I was a kid I thought of Marvel as darker universe stories while DC was more of the knights in shining armor stories. After the late 80s, and especially through the 1990s, DC lost its King Author touch (for me anyway) as their focus became gloom and doom. It was enough to depress anyone's hope of a better future. Still, DC did put out some good stuff from time to time, and although it has been touch and go since then, I still stand with DC today. I still wish for the morals of knights in shining armor (the fictional kind, not the morals of historically accurate knights) and hope for a better future to return to comics though. If in our fiction all we read and see is darkness that is what we make our reality. Never mind reality was already messed up to begin with... focusing on the darkness will not make anything better.
