I work at Borders and sometimes on my break I'll just sit down and read some of the graphic novels and TPBs we have. Recently I noticed that someone "accidently" opened the Absolute Batman Hush book, so I decided that since it was already opened I would just go ahead and read it. Jim Lee's artwork looked so amazing on a larger scale. I would have to say Jim Lee's artwork on Batman Hush is my favorite in a single story arc. It's so solid, every panel is just Jim Lee at his best

Whenever Im bored or looking exciting read I always return to Dark Knight Returns or Kingdom Come Although contrasting styles I adore the artwork in both as it perfectly compliments the stories X-Box : SpionKU23 CoD4 or Halo 3Twitter : Spion23Facebook : Brian Stevenson

I would pick Alex Ross on anything. I can just look at his art all day, and still not see everything in the picture. So far I have read Kingdom Come and Marvels and I'm not really sure which if either I like better.

Marvels by Alex ross would be my pick too, closoely followed by Dave Gibbons for his Watchmen and David Lloyd's art on V For Vendetta. I'm hoping it won't be too long before DC release an Absolute edition of Justice, his work on that is a wonderful complement to his Marvels work. http://timebombcomics.blogspot.com/http://www.comicspace.com/timebombcomics/http://www.timebombcomics.com

As I've said before in many threads, I'm not a DC fan, but even I bought the Hush Hardcovers because of Jim Lee's work in that book. Simply amazing. I love going back and looking at John Byrne and Terry Austin's work on the Dark Phoenix Saga. I bought the Essential X-Men tpbs just so I could look at the black & white versions. So beautiful.

Lee on the Hush, then I really like the work that Mark Bagley did on the Ultimate Spider-Man.
