Every once in a while you strike gold in the digging thru the streaming options stuff.

I found this on Tubi for free viewing the other night. I've read a lot of WWII books and seen every movie I can find it feels like and this one is by far the best viewing of what life on a German sub must have been like during the war. If you're looking for something that really gets into the finer details of what life was like this one doesn't even have a close comparison I've seen yet. Crazy things you don't see written about like the crew acting as ballast for emergency dives and such rushing like tumbleweeds from one end of the boat to the other madly.
