So basically, if the Fantastic Four are apart they lose their powers eventually, permanently.

Yet apparently the Thing doesn't age when in rocky form and lived hundreds of years.

How does he pull that off when if the other 3 had died, he should have eventually lost his powers and rocky form?

I can also see a twisted future story/murder plot potential here where Ben is so upset he tries to kill one or more of the others so that he does lose his powers and reverts to human for more than just one week a year for centuries.

It probably wouldn't hurt for someone to figure out which was the true source for the cosmic rays as well. No sense leaving the kiddies confused about who to blame for their favorite team.
