Updated my software to the new system today. Went to login tonight amd it says user not allowed to use software. Not sure why since my subscription is valid. I can log on to my phone.

Also is there a way to run an update on my phone.

Thank you for any help and your time

once you update to the cloud, the software is disabled. You can now access your collection from the website by clicking dashboard and then the owned button. You can also view your collection on your phone, tablet and computer the same way.

Thank you. I got it. Now to play around with it

I think it's kind of a bummer that the desktop program no longer works once we've updated to the cloud. I understand not having to deal with programming for both a cloud service and a local desktop service, but I was hoping I'd still be able to at least open the desktop program and view my collection as it was as of the final update before updating to the cloud service.

I really loved the layout of the desktop program and having everything right there. That's one thing the bugs me about the cloud version is that for example, if I'm looking at Silver Surfer and want to go back to where I was in scrolling through my collection, it takes me back to the very top of the list (e.g. - 2001: A Space Odyssey. Then I have to scroll, scroll, scroll all the way back down to continue looking at whatever I have that comes after the S's.

Is there any way we can still open the desktop program and have it not try to connect for updates? Just so we can have that as a backup way to look at our collection?

Dear KDK,

If you use the navigation buttons to return to your desired location (e.g., titles, books, etc.), it will take you back to where you left off. For instance, let's say you clicked to view the details of "Amazing Spider-Man 300" and wanted to return to the list of issues. Simply click the "All" button, and it will take you back to the list of issues, starting from issue number 300.

Additionally, if you were browsing titles and you clicked on "Amazing Spider-Man" to view its issues, when you return to the titles, it will be set to "Amazing Spider-Man." Furthermore, if you click the search magnifying glass icon on the top banner menu, you will see a list of your recently viewed titles, which should facilitate your navigation.

Please note that we will be completely phasing out the software at the beginning of the year. We appreciate your compliments on the design. Initially, it was a personal project, but I wanted to share it with like-minded individuals who have the same passion for comics. However, to progress with mobile notifications and ensure accessibility everywhere, we made the decision to phase out the software. I believe that as you become more familiar with the new system and perhaps watch some of the videos on our YouTube channel, you will discover that the web version is quite impressive.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
