Batfleck wins. While Bendevil gave up his murderous ways by the end of his movie, Batfleck would still have no qualms about putting Bendevil six feet under.

LOL at the Daredevil pic.

That said, I pick Batfleck. The guy was definitely stronger and has more gadgets to work with. They're fighting skills are probably around the same level, and ironically that grappling hook probably gives Batfleck better agility than his Daredevil counterpart.

As much as I like the Netflix show, I always thought Ben made the better Daredevil. Not only does the costume look better, but Ben has the better face for it. Charlie Cox (as good as he is as Matt) looks like some drunk guy in a superhero costume, especially when he has the stubble action going on.

Well in the end, I think there's one thing most people can agree with in regards to Ben Affleck and that is...

oh Gigli I hate you.

Haha, that was pretty good.

Whenever people roll their eyes at Affleck as Daredevil, I have to remind them that he was a pretty hot property at the time, and Daredevil was well received when it came out, breaking the weekend box office record for a February debut, staying at #1 two weekends in a row. It was also his last $100 Million+ grosser for the next fifteen years or so. It was unfortunate Gigli came out six months later and imploded his career. Pretty sure we would have gotten a proper sequel, instead of some bland Elektra spin off.

I never understood all the hate towards the Daredevil movie. I really didn't think it was as bad as everyone else was saying. My biggest complaint would be that Bullseye never wore his mask but I thought that Colin Farrel did a pretty good job as him otherwise. I do believe that the Director's Cut was a ton better than the regular release.

The Elektra movie wasn't unwatchable.

I saw it one time. The only thing I remember is that it was...boring (and that they kind of ruined Typhoid Mary). I didn't see the Director's Cut, which could be better. As my late brother said, "Rob Bowman sprinkled this movie with mediocracy dust." Bowman was known for directing some of the best X-Files episodes, so his feature film entry with Elektra was kind of disappointing.

One thing I'll definitely put the movie over the Netflix series is that I thought the villains had better casting.

Bullseye in the show was kind of bland while Colin brought him to life and sorry Vincent, but very rarely would I ever view him as being superior to Michael Clarke Duncan.

So unfortunate Michael had to die rather early. Would've been interesting to know what sort of roles he would've landed in this post streaming new movie and TV landscape.

That said I do love the revelation that after Helen Mirren won the Oscar for playing the Queen, she thought her next big career move would be, at the ripe age of 62, that she's going to be an action star. Hey I actually love it. The action genre needs someone like her.

The only other two funniest tidbits was after Jamie Lee Curtis won her Oscar, her next big career endeavour is that she's campaigning to be in the live action One Piece show.

Or that after both Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones got their Oscar noms for playing Stephen Hawking and his wife (with Eddie winning) that their next career move was that not only do they wanted to be in more action movies, but they'll take the Tom Cruise route and do all their own stunts. Even if that ended up with the two of them nearly dying after they crashed a hot air balloon. There's just something funny of the thought that Stephen Hawking and his wife are going to do all their own stunts like Tom Cruise.

I'm in the minority (even amongst those who hate the movie) of fans who didn't care for Duncan's performance. To be clear, the blame lies with Mark Steven Johnson and how he directed his acting. It just didn't match Kingpin from the comics, who was largely emotionless, never smiled. That's what made him so scary. His seeming detachment made him appear more ruthless. Duncan's Kingpin was the complete opposite. Vincent was more on point.

I remember seeing Elektra in the theater and at one point thinking that we must be close to the end. I checked my watch and realized we were only 45 minutes into the movie.
