Now that we have a thread about favorite heroes, what about villains?

For me, it's:
1. Doctor Doom (the classic all-time villain)
2. Solomon Grundy
3. Bizarro (any version, but the recent Superman/Batman version was great)

For Marvel
1. Dr. Doom
2. Green Goblin (Norman)
3. Galactus
4. Venom
5. Magneto

And for DC
1. Lex Luthor
2. Joker
3. Darseid
4. Bizarro
5. And maybe Superboy Prime because he's close to the biggest threat to the DCU right now.

Oooh, I love villains. I love most anything dark and evil though...and no, I haven't gotten any help yet.

1. Parallax (Yes, the dreaded Hal Jordan version, the REAL Parallax!)
2. Darkseid
3. Thanos
4. Dr. Doom
5. Black Adam
6. Magneto (When he's a villain)
7. Venom
8. Carnage
9. The Original Green Goblin
10. The Cyborg (DC Comics)
11. Mordru

For DC It's Joker all the way. You just never know with him.
For Marvel its Gotta be Magneto. Mainly because the X-men have never really beaten him they just survive an attack and call it a draw.

Listing these in no particular order:

Charon (Crossgen): Nearly omnipotent but far from perfect, self righteous and somewhat loony. Made for a good mix, and a good fit for the ultimate nemesis in crossgens shared universe. So sad we never got to see the conclusion

Thanos (Marvel): Ok, I guess I like the powerful adversaries. Was often done poorly depending on writer, but I love most of the books he was a villian in

Dr Doom (Marvel): Overused as years went on, but come on, he's Dr Doom!

Max (Vertigo): Ending to The Losers was rushed, but Max is a good example of the mysterious unpowered person as a super villian, something we see far too little outside of Lex Luther in Superman, which isn't my cup of tea.

I have given this some thought and I think my favorite villain would have to the Time Trapper...Old school (before any identity reveal)

I just love that stuff...

The Juggernaut when he was a villain and unstoppable! Not the current unstable hero who can be brought down by nearly anyone. I remember him in his prime, whooping Thor and the Hulk! And I cant forget about Thanos...god-like power and pure calculating evil!
Countdown #31 when Jimmy Olsen was being analyzed by Cadmus:

Dr. Sterling Roquette: Just kick back and, as Mr. Cannon here so eloquently put it, relax. Let the AMBIENT NUCLEAR ULTRA-SPECTROGRAPH do its thing.
Jimmy Olsen: Why don't you guys just use an acronym?
Dr. Sterling Roquette: You think about that.
