Shane was kind enough to host this version & has provided me with a link to the newly revised tutorial. Here it is.
Once you've clicked on the link you will have two options to either open it or save it. Sorry, in advance for the size of the file.

Sorry about the size of this visual. However, if you do happen to have access to Office Live just send me a PM with your email address & I'll add you to the office live version & you won't have to wait to download it I don't think. You should be able to view it directly on your computer screen immediately. Since I'm the originating owner I don't have to a clue as to what it will ask you to do once I've added your email address to the Office Live session. Please inform me if you have any problems with accessing it.

Okay so some of our screens have changed with the new CR2 fully implemented but the formatting is still the same so I'm only going to give the new screen shots & explain what the new terms are compared to the old terms.
The old screen
This will be the 2nd screen that you will see & you will just simply fill the blanks as you would have for the original screen only this time you will see some slight changes in name for fields.
Still on the same screen you will find a drop down box when you click on the arrow next to the word comic book, select the appropriate category.
Now under Key Pub: you will click on the 3 ... box & you will find a new screen appear.
Now that you've finished adding your Publisher you will now need to complete your Caption box previously known as the cover title description field section. Now to complete this section correctly you may refer back to the original that is shown with the visual.
And as usual you must provide a supportive link to aid you & the approvers in expediting your request. This will ensure that all data is entered correctly the 1st time & avoid extra cover titles. You must always check to see if another member has requested your cover title possibly on the say day as yourself just a smidge early before requesting a cover title. So update often before submitting a missing cover title.

The old screen for missing Issues or variants.
The new screens
This screen will appear for the 1st time Issues
This screen will appear for the variant Issues
BUT DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT CHANGE THE VARIANT LETTER. CCL assigns them.
The 1st thing you will need to do is upload a scan of the cover. Otherwise you'll not be able to venture any further. If you don't have one of your own try & find one from a neighboring site that doesn't watermark their covers.
Now once you've uploaded your cover image you're ready to proceed.
This was formerly known as Cover Description
Now this was formerly known as the Issue Description
Now the only difference between a never before added & a variant is that for the variant most of your information s/b already there, you will merely change the data to reflect correctly for your edition say it's a 2nd edition change the 1 to a 2, & if the price has changed make sure to have it reflect it properly too.

It came to my attention today that not all CCL members know how to go about adding missing Items such as credit via the newer CR2.
Here are a couple of screen shots.
1st you will need to learn how to navigate around the screens as you find them. Now somewhere along the far left-hand column you will see this little segment,
Library Additions
This is where you will need to add your missing credits, titles, story arcs, characters, publishers for new items that haven't been added to the master data base yet. However, if you are editing an item you need not locate this section just go about it the usual way.
