It's amazing how many people said Rob Liefield, because when I read the header he was the first to pop into my mind.
I'm kind of tired right now and it's getting hard to think. I tend to not read comics that I don't care for the art, but a good enough writer can be a big help in overcoming this.
Anyways, getting back to the subject! Way back in the 80's, when I used to read Uncanny X-Men, they went through quite a few artists that I didn't particularly care for. Two of them specifically were Brett Blevins and Marc Silvestri. I honestly don't know how Blevins got into the industry with his near complete lack of talent. I've seen some of Silvestri's more recent stuff, and have to admit that he has gotten better, but back in the day he was pretty awful.
Most of my friends could never stand Bill Sienkiewicz, and I can see why. I have seen some of his stuff, though, (Uncanny 159) that shows he does actually have talent. Why he chooses to draw like he does in most of his work is beyond me!
