At the San Francisco home of Doctor Clinton Avery, Foxbat attempts to steal the Doctor's prize possession, the Hellfire Crown. Flare, Icestar, and Rose are on hand to prevent the theft, but the Avery knows it is time to gather the others, and soon puts out the call to the Marksman and Giant.
