DC COMICS Announces The Legion Must Be Destroyed!
For the second time in a month, DC has asked comic retailers nationwide to NOT offer one of its' comics to their customers due to a publishing error.
DC COMICS PRESENTS LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1 is slated to hit shelves on APRIL 20th, but in a note to retailers from Diamond and DC Comics, DC has requested copies of the issue be destroyed upon acceptance and a new issue will be sent out:
"Retailers, please note that the copies of DC COMICS PRESENTS LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES #1 (FEB110191) scheduled to arrive in stores on April 20 were printed with the chapters in the wrong order.
DC Comics asks retailers to destroy these copies on receipt. You will be credited for these copies on April 27 invoices.
Retailers will receive replacement copies on May 11 and will be billed for these copies on that week's invoice. New copies may be distinguished by the white "Legion" logo on the cover.
