I have to say I was very nervous about this book, especially when I learned about the team roster. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the characters, with the exception of Fantomex who is new to me, but was nervous about the team dynamic. Well rest assured it works great. From the first page the art really drew me in. Jerome Opeňa’s art is amazing and it fits the comic well. Add in the writing talents of Rick Remender, and you have the recipe for what could be an excellent story. I do not want to spoil the plot, because you should go out and buy this book. The book starts with a quick intro to the characters, and then it is all action. The story ends nicely, leaving just enough to keep you drooling for more. My only hope is that the creative team can continue to deliver on this level. I give it 9 out of 10!
