Of Course He'd Come Back

I've been a big fan of the Captain America Vol 5 series since issue #1. I love Brubaker's stuff on Captain America. That being said, Reborn was no different for me. I thought it was a well constructed story and great read. I enjoyed the supporting characters brought together in this book (pyrm, vision, falcon, black widow). The art was fantastic as usual for a Captain America book. While time travel stories have the potential to screw up a story (or at the least in comic book stories), I'm really hoping (and thus so far it works) Brubaker keeps it simple, but entertaining. My only beef about this story, is this is really a story that could take place in the regular series, say as Captain America #601. It doesn't feel like a "major event" or separate limited series, because Brubaker's writing has been very fluent over the course of the Captain America series. I only hope it gets better.
