Marvel’s Chaos War series is comprised of many titles that are of uneven quality. Marvel and DC continue to do this type of series in order to maximize the selling of titles that would otherwise go down in flames. The Chaos War: Dead Avengers seems to be one of the few good titles that may develop the story in a satisfactory way. It all boils down to the team that is scheduled to run with a particular title, for this series Marvel seems to have found a quality team in Van Lente and Grummet. I hope they continue to deliver for the sake of the Chaos War story as other titles are not to par.
