I Was Not Let Down

I was not going to read this until issue 6 of Reborn came out...but I could not help myself.

Another solid and moving story from Brubaker and one that in the end sort of makes sense. Going into it I knew it was a 50/50 guess as to who would be Captain America.

What you get is an ending that makes sense. I am not going to just give it away but when you get to that last page it all makes sense.

Will some readers be unhappy with the way this one turns out? Probably. There is are those that think that Steve is the one and only Captain America. There are those that want to see Barnes continue on as he has grown into the role and being Captain America means something different to him than it does to Steve.

I must say though, I like the Presidential pardon at the end for Steve..and how the President knows it will just tick Norman off. See even Obama thinks Norman is a tool....

It was good until Obama showed up, I think it an insult that the President who wants to make nice with terrorists should be allowed to pardons Cap, Obama isn't worthy of appearing near Cap.
