This is a classic X-Men tale that takes another look at Magneto and his vision for both mutant kind and humans. The writing actually makes Magneto come across as the hero in this book, as he points out Moira MacTaggert's shortcomings for messing around with his DNA.
For about 30 seconds it appears as though the X-men are going to fight one another but that is quickly averted.
Jim Lee's art is very good (especially the cover).
There are some deficiencies with this issue however. For instance, how does Moira brainwash the X-men?
Claremont also goes a little too far with his Magneto and Xavier speeches at the end.
All in all a very entertaining read though.
