Once again Nick Fury finds himself and his young team of superheroes in the middle of what looks like an unwinnable predicament.
Hickman continues to spin layered tales of deceit that make every reader a potential conspiracy theorist. You’re never sure just who to trust and bad guys are not as "cut and dry" as they once were. Gone are the traditional bad guys, replaced by levels of bad. One level of which, no doubt needs to be Fury and his team!
Thanks to a mole, Fury's team is ambushed while trying to destroy a Hydra base. As the final page indicates, this is going to be a tough spot for old Nicky to get out of.
Add the wonderful art by Mirko Colak to the terrific writing by Hickman, and you have yourself a hit. This has been a consistently good series with all kinds of surprises. This issue is no different.
