Wolfskin is a Norse Conan with a savage streak that can’t be match by any other character known to me. He delights in eating his enemies’ heart once he dispatches of them. His non-sense point of view lets him see the world in terms of black and white, thus simplifying all his interactions and allowing for intense confrontation in the realms of ideas and physical struggle.
Warren Ellis has created a mixture of sword and sorcery and Norse mythology that has the potential of becoming a great addition to this genre if he continues to develop the character and his surroundings.
Gianluca Pagliarani’s art work in the Blood Thirst cover and in the interior work works excellent with the atmosphere and text. It’s hard to see another artist work with this character in the same way.
