The Galactic tale continues, as Vulcan's thirst for total domination is taken one step further. The mad emperor gives the orders to free 4 of the Shi'ar's deadliest prisoners, who are charged to hunt down the renegade Starjammers. I love that "Dirty Dozen" approach to storytelling. And these villains are very interesting additions to the existing plot.
Havok and the other captured Starjammers continue their escape from custody with the ultimate goal of killing Vulcan. Gabriel opens the door for Galactic war by killing the visiting members of the Galactic Council.
This second instalment in the series was okay. The art (Dustin Weaver) was somewhat predictable and there were a few panels where Yost lost me as the action seemed to skip around a little too much. I've never cared much about the Shi'ar, but I am interested in the key players in this story, so I think I'll stick around for a while.
