Soldier Zero #3 has me partially engaged in the story. There is something missing in the execution of the comic that leave me feeling that Paul Cornell is still trying to find his MoJo.
We have a dramatic twist in the James is suspected of being the mysterious super hero caught on camera while the cripple Stewart is seen by authorities as perpetrating a cover up for his older brother. Soldier One appears to challenge Soldier Zero and supposedly bring him into the galactic war that his race is involved in. The development of this story is a bit slow and does not have the hooks one would expect from Stan Lee to grab the readers’ attention and make them want to continue with the story.
