Never judge a (comic) book by it's cover.

Well, I must admit that this is the first comic that I have read in the Battle for the Cowl storyline.

While the storyline might be interesting, this comic is not.

I've always liked most portayals of Commisioner Gordon, and him on the cover drew me in.

Sadly, for me, that was the best part of the comic.

It started to lose me after 5 pages and I completely gave up by page 6 when the artist changed.

Can't say much else about it as I just skimmed the rest of the comic but never got back into it.

Oh well, on to try World without Superman.

Well, it was designed that way, with different artists with each different character feature. Regardless, It didn't hold my interest in the least.

It's never good when artists are changed in mid-stream of a comic. If they can hold an artist the story must be pretty bad.
