Release the Continuity Hounds!

I knew this issue was going to be good when I saw Jack of Hearts on the cover. I mean, what else can you expect when you have the Scarlet Witch involved in a story with the time travelling Iron Lad and Jack of Hearts? Sounds like Avengers Disassembled all over again right?

This series has been pretty strong right from the get go. Here we are five issues in and we have Dr. Doom throwing down with Magneto, Wolverine trying to kill the Scarlet Witch and Wiccan looking a lot like the threat that his mother proved to be. All this, and there are still four issues to go in this series.

There is no denying that anytime you involve time travel in a story, anything is fair game. But it is hard to imagine how this issue can't have long lasting repercussions on M Day. And for that simple fact, I am very, very excited!

Iron Lad and the Young Avengers bring the Scarlet Witch back in time to the Avengers' Mansion hoping to get her to remember anything from the past (In particular, Avengers Disassembled.) They arrive at the mansion at the exact same time Jack of Hearts shows up. There is Ant Man, ready to confront Jack when the Young Avengers save him. The question is, what does this all mean?

Interestingly enough, Wanda Maximoff remembers everything and shows up on the final page as Scarlet Witch. Things are about to get hectic!

This would be a great spot to reintroduce her character. I would also love to see something done about the mutant problem here as well.

This is a great series, and this was probably the best book of the series to date.
