What can I say about this series wrap up that I haven't already said about any of the issues leading up to it? Loeb has deteriorated to writing shock value writing simply for.....shock value! It feels like the 1990's all over again. So lots of heroes die and Magneto loses by having his head blown off by Cyclops in the end. The obituaries in the end show that Loeb takes himself waaaaaaaaay too seriously. Too bad, because he is a decent writer. This series just validated one thing for me. Thank God I don't collect Ultimate books!

Please don't bring up the Hulk & Loeb in the same sentence. I am still crying myself to sleep over his destruction of a great character. Not to mention, Hulk is of course my favorite character.

Ultimates 1, 2 and almost 3 were good. Other than that, I have no use for the Ultimate line.

I didn't mind the Ultimates books (III being the worst of the bunch). It's the other books that I think really suck (Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate FF etc.)

Miserable....I unfortunately liked the Ultimate Books. I was excited for Ultimates 3 and was hugely disappointed, but since I order my books online...I had already ordered the whole series :(
