Wanna see what I'm thinking?

"Bode. Could you close your head please?"

"Now? I just opened it."

Sums up this issue right there. The Mystery of the head key is handled head on in this, another amazing issue of Locke & Key.

Unlike issues 1 and 2, this one centers around the 3 Locke children as we dive deep into what Bode really thinks and how to cheat on your homework. Without giving too much away, the imagination of a child can be a very powerful, as Tyler and Kinsey get a taste of what Bode thinks. But what if the key were to be used for other means? Is only cheating to get ahead in school all that is in store?

Artwork: 5 Whats that, another 5! The only thing to sum up this issue is the 2 page spread of inside Bode's head. Click Here to see it.

Writing: 5 So who wants to help me try and figure out where these ideas come from. Sure it was a slower issue, no evil floating around, but the imagination needed to explain how opening your head and peaking around a bit is just great.

Dying Breath: 5 It's no wonder why this series is up for 2 Eisner awards. Some of the best writing, best art in books today. This is just a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and constantly wanting more.

I should note that if there is a downside to this series, it is that you can't just go grab issue #3 and know whats going on. You really need to read the first series and issues 1 and 2 of Headgames. Which you should have already done!
