Thanks for the unpredictability Millar!!!

I was impressed with the second issue of Millar’s Nemesis. I did not think it was possible to top the first issue in terms of pure ingenuity and sadism. Well, Millar proved me wrong and has outdone himself with an issue that has James-Bond-on-steroid-style chase scene and the audacity of the best Batman story. We get a clear understanding of what motivates the Nemesis and why he picks his targets, so everything seems pretty clear until the twist of genius is laid out and we are face with an enjoyable surprise.

My reference to batman is further reinforced with the use of riddles throughout the intellectual chase of criminal and police. But this is not simply a Batman/Riddle rip-off. No, in this one we are not sure if the Riddle will fold as in Batman. That is what makes this series so much entertainment. There is little that we can predict as we read panel from panel. Not been predictable is what constitutes a good reading experience in my book. Thanks for the unpredictability Millar.
