One thing this book didn't need was a flash-forward to a "Days of Future Past"-type time period. I am so tired of alternate universes, futures, pasts, etc. (with the exception of Old Man Logan, which is actually good). Guggenheim had a good few issues, but it's clear he's having to wrap things up quickly by next issue's finale. While the end of Young X-Men is a good thing, now we have 3 new characters to deal with (Ink, Cipher, and Greymalkin), which is quite meaningless. And does anyone actually care about Dust? I like her character, but not in this book. I couldn't care less if she dies if this is how she'll be treated. Why on earth would she help Pierce escape only to turn on him? It makes no sense. Here's hoping next issue will have a spectacular rescue of Dust by the REAL New X-Men-Surge, Hellion, Prodigy, Mercury, and the rest...
