I Miss the 80's.

Millar does a great job of recapturing the feel of the 1980's. I am really starting to buy into this concept of all these comic villains showing up in this quiet Amaerican town. This would actually make a good movie in the fashion of all the other armegedon, action movies. The town is coming apart at the seems, and these "normal" folks have no idea what to do about it. I love the scene with Modok leading the people into the lake where they are drowning themselves. One complaint I may have is the art. I am not 100% sold on Tommy Lee Edwards sketchy style yet. I realize they are trying to give it an 80's feel, but that does'nt mean I have to enjoy it.

I love this series!!! So fun with all the old-school villains. Millar really gives you that 1980's feel.
