Well, here it is, the new line-up we all have been waiting for. And when the dust settled, the verdict is...very intriguing.
A lot of people have been talking about the rosters of the Secret Avengers, the New Avengers, Avengers Prime and so forth. I have to be honest though, I have seen very little chatter about the new Thunderbolts line-up, and this is the one that intrigues me the most.

Luke Cage has been asked by Steve Rogers to head up a new T-Bolt team. As an ex-con who is now fighting for the greater good, Rogers feels as though criminals on the cusp will be more likely to see the merit in doing good.
There are a couple of cool things about this series. The obvious one is the line-up (which I will touch upon in a minute.) Less obvious though is the fact that these T-Bolts are going to be working out of the Raft. It is about time that we got to see some of the inner workings of the premiere super villain jail.
The line-up is top notch in my opinion. Gone are the Z-list characters, and they are replaced by some hardcore villains. Juggernaut, Crossbones, Man Thing, Ghost and Moonstone all join Cage on this new team. Together, these characters form one of the most formidable teams in the history of comics. Should be interesting to see how Cage tames this crew.
The art was okay and the writing was good. I think things are looking up for this series. This constitutes a good start. And Walker leaves us with a great teaser on the final page, as one of the former leaders of the Thunderbolts shows up.
Can't wait for issue 145!
