I’m very cautious as I review this issue because for the second issue I’m being drawn to this series with the feeling that just around the corner I will be disappointed by something said or done that just breaks the spell that has engulfed this incarnation of Wolverine. I want to believe that there is a clear attempt to undo some damage that other Wolverine titles may have done to the franchise. Issue #2 stands as an excellent comic in both writing and artistic delivery. I’m really happy with the shorts that accompany this series as they further the story; they are complementary.
I’m engaged and will at least finish the story arc, something I have not done with Wolverine for a long time.
