Conan frees a mighty sorcerer from the Scarlet Citadel and his reward is a flying creature to carry him back to his kingdom in time to save it from the clutches of another evil sorcerer.
In this penultimate issue of the Scarlet Citadel we are faced with the prospect of Conan saving his kingdom while doing the bidding of a sorcerer that may have reasons of his own to help the barbarian king. This is an intricate story full of layers that should give Dark Horse plenty more stories in their continuing development of the Conan franchise.
