About Blue Bolt (1940)
Blue Bolt was published in successive volumes, numbers 1 - 10, roughly one volume per year starting in 1940. It was first published by Novelty Press for Volumes 1 - 7, then by Premium Group, starting in Volume 7 issue #11 through Volume 10, totaling 101 issues. The publication was then picked up in 1949 as Blue Bolt Comics by Star Publications, who started their series at issue #102, later converting to Blue Bolt Weird Tales of Terror.
