"Death and 7 Wizards!"
After battling with a creature from the deep, in the pool of Tsien Hui, Conan drags his welt covered body from the pool and collapses, unconscious on the streets of Wan Tengri.
Conan awakes to a thief, trying to relieve him of his last few pieces of gold. But, now come guardsmen, whom Conan had tussled with earlier, so instead of throttling the would-be thief, the two take their leave by climbing up a nearby tree, and onto the rooftops, disappearing into the night.
Conan soon learns of the city's plight. It would seem their King has been killed, and Seven Wizards have taken over Wan Tengri. Conan remembers many recent battles, most involving wizards, and other friends and foes alike - Zukala, Yag-Kosha, and Red Sonja, to name but a few. He remembers the vision he once had, of being a mighty King, seated at a throne, and wonders; perhaps this is the place?
But, first the Seven Wizards must be dealt with. Three battles must be fought, with Conan gaining either his honor, or his death!
