"Ironjaw the King!"
Metal-jawed barbarian, Roland (don't let him hear you call him so - or he'll gut you like a carcass) escapes from the King's castle with a little help from Princess Elena, who unbeknowest to him is his twin sister.
Ironjaw shows signs of sentiment by lingering to rescue his former companion from being fed to the King's bears in the arena for the delight of a bloodthirsty crowd.
Having rescued the maiden, whose name he hadn't even bothered to ask, Ironjaw is petitioned by her rebel friends to lead a popular uprising to depose a despot.
Bloody, unforgivingly brusque battle rages between Ironjaw's rag-tag army and the King's guards. The barbarian finally confronts the King and succeeds in killing him.
A new sovereign is crowned. All hail, King Ironjaw! Ironjaw finds a sedentary regal life not at all to his liking. Days filled by sycophant signatories and supplicant women fan the flames of wanderlust in his savage breast once more.
Just as before when he escaped captivity over the castle wall, the newly crowned monarch takes the same route to abdicate the throne.
