After attempting to rescue her father, Harper finds herself face to face with Rhodes, in the clutches of Dude, and a prisoner of A.S.I.. Harper awakens restrained to a gurney, with a creepy figure standing over her getting ready to remove the Ellison device from her arm, by any means necessary. Using a blinding light, emitted from the Ellison device, harper temporarily incapacitates the man, and turns the tables in her favor. She escapes, frees Whitaker who takes off intent on bringing back the cavalry, or F.B.I. in this case. Meanwhile, Harper must face Coyle, who show's up in his Mega-Tech suit, as "Purge." Soon things develop into a showdown between Mirage, Harper, "Purge," and Rhodes, all with the F.B.I. ready outside. In the end, Alex Temple is granted a pardon, and Angie and Harper have had their revenge, but the events leave Harper changed forever.
