"The Eve of...Annihilation"
The Hulk is a helpless captive of the Leader's resilient prison, and the Leader brings his Super Humanoid on as guard. This makes General Ross nervous, but he places his trust in his new ally. The Leader rants in private about his plan to launch Armageddon, now that the Hulk is out of his way. Betty overhears him, and informs Glenn Talbot. They lobby General Ross to free the Hulk so that the Leader can be stopped, but Ross won't listen. Talbot takes a gamble and frees the Hulk on his own. In response, the Leader sets his Super Humanoid against the forces on base. Ultimately, the Hulk is re-prisoned, the Leader takes mental control of the base personnel, and sets out to launch nuclear missiles at America's cities. 18 pages.
