"Invasion from Outer Space"
An armada of gigantic alien ships fills the skies over America, and hover silently. People panic, and the military wants to launch offensive weapons, but scientists council that, since no hostile actions have been made, perhaps the visitors come in peace. The hawks win out, and missiles are launched with no apparent affect. The government decides to throw themselves at the aliens' mercy by destroying all armaments. Once this is done, the aliens fly away, but we see that it was all a trick performed by the peace-loving scientist. 5 pages (T-144).
"Trapped in Yesterday"
A scientist completes his time machine as his assistant grumbles to himself about his lack of recognition. The assistant grabs a handful of modern devices, and travels back to the days of King Arthur's court, ready to amaze them with the technology. Of course, none of his things work without electricity, and he soon finds that he is scrubbing floors for King Arthur instead of the scientist. 5 pages (T-129).
"The Planet That Wasn't There!"
On a distant planet, a civilization tries yet again to launch a manned rocket to a safe world to ease their overpopulation. The rocket fails, like those before it. On this trip, however, the President's daughter had stashed away, and was now dead. They decide, once and for all, to never again try to reach...Earth. 4 pages (T-148).
"The Secret of Planet "X"!"
The cruel dictator of a planet grows tired of his unchallenged rule. An aide tells him of Planet "X", which has never been conquered, but is feared throughout the Galaxy. The dictator rises to the challenge and takes a force to subjugate the world. They arrive to find peaceful people, living in a wonderland of flowered meadows. Only later do they learn that the real masters of Planet X are the flowers, who control the people through their hypnotic smell, but by then, it is too late for the tyrant. 4 pages (T-113).
"A Robot in Hiding!"
In the future, robots have gotten near perfect, so when the President declares them a danger that must be destroyed, one robot goes into hiding to save itself. It stalks the President, and strikes, revealing the President to be a robot himself, who decided to destroy the rest to avoid detection. 5 pages (T-145).
