"Where Walk the Immortals!"
Bruce Banner awakens on the beach where his fight with the Sub-Mariner concluded, and is mystically transformed to the Hulk and teleported to the Rainbow Bridge by Loki. Challenged by Heimdall, the Hulk fights his way into Asgard and is met by the Warriors Three. After battling with Hogun, the Asgardians recognize that Hulk's spirit is pure, and stop the fight. They pledge to help him uncover the mystery of his appearance. Thwarted, Loki reverts the Hulk to Banner just as Hulk has leapt to cross a chasm, and Banner plunges headlong.
"...And Evil Shall Beckon!"
Namor's sleep has been haunted by a visage that taunts him. He feels he should recognize it but cannot, and is drawn north to investigate. Meanwhile, Atlanteans, led by Lady Dorma, evacuate the ruins of Atlantis to seek a new home. Lord Seth accompanies the Lady, and hopes that her affections will turn to him. Namor finds the source of of his nagging feelings, a cave in Antarctica. Inside awaiting him is the face from his dream, the man called Destiny.
The title is renamed Incredible Hulk (Vol 2) as of next issue, with the Hulk becoming a full length feature. The Sub-Mariner story continues in the one-shot Iron Man & Sub-Mariner before starting his own title Sub-Mariner (Vol 2).
