The J'naii are a humanoid civilization which have consciously removed themselves from sexual differentiation. Members of this species are born without a gender preference, and if one is displayed, treatment is rendered to attain neutrality. Commander William Riker of the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE became attracted to a J'naii named Soren during a rescue mission.
