*Terrorized by an intimidating creature called Cetus, the people of the planet Savion send a distress call into space. Dylan, aboard the Maru, orders his teammates to investigate, and soon the Andromeda itself is imperiled by the huge, gelatinous monster. Swallowed whole by Cetus, the Andromeda soon loses Rommie’s invaluable services, and Harper struggles to gain manual control. Even as Dylan and Trance plan a suicide attack in the Maru, the Andromedans eject their slipstream drive into the belly of the beast. This causes an explosion, projecting them out of its stomach and killing the monstrous space creature at the same time.
