*In the Maru, Dylan, Tyr and Rommie come upon The Clarion’s Call, a missing and decommissioned High Guard troopship. While aboard, they forcibly remove the ship’s avatar, Ryan, and question him about any remaining High Guard or Commonwealth vessels. Ryan reveals that the surviving ships are in a star system called Tartarus. Dylan and his team race there and find n less than 53 abandoned vessels. They also find that these High Guard AIs are resistant to being saved. Dylan knows that he must convince them to rejoin the Commonwealth in time to make their escape from an impending Nietzchean attack.
