Origin: Jack Mobley led a perfect life until it was abruptly stripped away. Losing his job and wife, and beig diagnosed with cancer, the dispirited Mobley clung to strings of hope. Attacked by Lissik, they snapped! Jack awoke crazed - and with deadly powers! Jack blamed his attack on the heroes who failed to protect him. Turning his spiteful neighbors into hideous monsters, jack attacked the JLA. They would never forget the Terrorsmith!
