Powers: Manifests negative energy in force beams with concussive and propulsion powers.
Origin: Josh Xan was born of Cambodian/African-American parentage. Yearning to be loved, to belong, he was instead treated by many as an outcast, a mongrel. Josh entered his teens angrily thinking himself unlovable, directing negative energy inward. Under parasite attack, that negative energy was given shape and form. Josh struck back with new powers, embracing a once hated name as an act of defiance...Mongrel!
